Excerpt from Eightball #11 along with a novelty towel bearing the image that inspired the story. This image was found online and is a new towel. In the book The Art of Daniel Clowes: Modern Cartoonist you have a picture of a vintage towel that is presumably from Clowes’ own collection, listed in the book as being from circa 1975.
